OLIVE FARM - with oil processing plant.

Situated on the slopes of the Winterhoek Mountains between Porterville and Gouda, the farm, “ Wêreldsgeluk” was specifically selected and developed on the ideal terroir for the cultivation of Olives.

The farm is an example of international best practice; from soil selection and preparation, using “Biological” farming methods – a combination of best conventional and organic methods to planting the best suited cultivars, all the way through to the state of the art olive press culminating in the award winning Adante olive oil brand.

The Olive press is housed in a complete plant with all the ancillary equipment. The press is a Toscana Enologica Mori (TEM) manufactured and distributed worldwide by the Giorgio Mori family.

The farm is a going concern with a shed and canopies housing all the plant & equipment required to run and expand the farm to 50 ha in production.

“Wêreldsgeluk” is complemented by a spacious architect-designed farmhouse blending rural charm and modern style. Consisting of three barn-type structures that create different living areas, surrounded by mountains and olive groves, it overlooks a large dam with beautiful north facing vistas of the mountain.

Accommodation: six bedrooms, five bathrooms; large open plan kitchen/dining room/living room with large shuttered glass doors leading to shady verandahs and a lovely garden; separate pantry/scullery; spacious games room (occupying one of the three barn-style structures), currently used as a study and project room.
